    Just curious. I looked at my AWSTATS and saw I got some traffic from Google Images, went to check it out and saw my site was indexed for images in Google as well.

    Well, I have a few news stories, and I place images on them, so they are not linked. In google when you search the image, say it is a brain. It usually has the name Brain, but with url to www.fantasy-pc.com

    Hello,
    Again it depends on the requirement of user for example if he requires homeowner loans and if the image is of homeloans definitely user will click on it.. I found some conversions through images for some of my sites.

    yes, i get a lot of hits from images. i have a social network website, and it is floded by these image hits! lot of bandwidth is being taken by these image loads! we all love hits, don't we:)

    My photography sites gets tons of traffic from google searches. . .but I'm afraid most are probably just looking for images to steal rather than buy, you never know, though. So I would never disallow Google from indexing the images.

    I get about 1,000 hits a day from Google Images from our photography site. People use our images on their sites, so there is much more of a benefit than what it seems like. (At this current time, we have 20,000 MySpace profiles that are using our images, so there is a great amount of traffic from that)
