With sky high earnings per click (though little CTR) would you replace all your ads with YPN? At least for the time being, till YPN continues to pay such high earnings
For now. YES. But it won't be long before the epc starts to balance out with Google. Make the money while you can. I'm already 11 dollars away from my first check. And it's only been 8 days.
I'm going to take on a site by site basis. Some sites do better with YPN, others with Adsense. It's nice to finally have a real option.
im switching everything over to ypn, they pay more and it will last for a long time, they have no problem paying high for overture users and they will continue this trend with ypn.
beyond low. i was making over 600 a day for the last 2 years and then all of a sudden it went to the crapper. ypn rules so i switched
yeah i do well, actually was doing well with adsense until recently, i would say since aug things where getting worst but i noticed a decline in the lst 7 months. This decline is across the board on over 8 sites and over many keywords and phrases. I see posts stating they are not feeling the pinch but i have and a few friends have as well. One of my sites was doing 1400 clicks a day and averaged 250 a day then somehow it went to 80 a day. I know, I know the advertiser was paying per click but per cpm but thats why things are low for many people. But with ypn things are better then ever, period.
I would have no hesitation going with the highest paying program. Hopefully YPN will be a worthy competitor to adsense. It would certainly be a nice result if competition from YPN made adsense increase the publisher's share of revenue generated... Geir
Exactly, first off whenever i leave adsense and come back 2 months later the money is on point but then it dwindles. Hopefully if many leave adsense for ypn adsense will one day return to its normal state but not as long as they provde smart pricing, buying clicks by the thousand and the rotating ads. those things need to stop or soon all keywrods and phrases will be worth 3 cents a click. except powerfull keywords like , freecellphones, cellphones, lawyers etc.....
Short answer: no, I plan to keep a mix of both so I can keep track of which performs best. Long answer: see my blog
Some signed up a few months ago and havn't even got a reply. It looks like there approving sites randomly.
You could get approved the next hour, or next day, or next year, or next century, or in your next life!!
Right now I would say that I would not switch over yet. It seems to be that Yahoo has some big advertisers like Vonage, but there are not enough ads that really seem to match up with the content of my sites that I would switch over 100% if I had adsense as well. But I think the coming months could bring great things for Yahoo, if google doesn't adapt a bit to keep ahead of the race.
