    They must be geotargetting the page, because it's in English for me, and reads:

    can be geotargetting.

    And this site??:http://services.google.com/ads_inquiry/ct?hl=de&gsessionid=CSfvIMqoG_I

    here is written in german:
    So erhalten Sie eine Berechtigung für den Premium-Service:

    Wenn Ihre Website monatlich mehr als 5 Millionen Suchanfragen oder 10 Millionen Zugriffe auf Content-Seiten erhält, können Sie sich für den AdSense-Premium-Service qualifizieren.

    Code (markup):
    That means in english:
    when your website reaches more than 5 Million searchinquiries or 10 Millionen access on content-sites, you are qualified for the Adsense-Premium-Service.

    (my english is not good)

    Yes they make a differece because germany is getting poorer and poorer! :)

    Looks like all non-English countries might be 10M. The Spanish and French versions also say 10M. :)

    It has been this way ever since I can remember. The difference is actually by what language you have selected, not based upon what country you reside in or the geolocation of your IP. So if you have a website in French or German, for example, you only need 10 million impressions as opposed to 20 million for an English website. The only English exception I am aware of is UK.

    And also worth mentioning is that just because you have 10 or 20 million impressions does not mean you automatically get a premium account. There is still an application process where they decide whether to accept as a premium or keep the account as a regular AdSense account - and I know a few UK accounts who have applied for premium and been denied ;)

    @Zapita
    Afterall we in Germany are rich, but like to say we aren´t rich and how bad our economy is doing and such things ...

    @ontopic
    I think in 2004 were only 5 million pageviews necessary to apply for an German AdSense Premium Account.
