Yesterday I decided to cut the time spent on a particular project, so I've got a few extra hours to kill this week. I figured it's been ages since I offered a press release sale here, so why not? I'm offering 25% off of my press release writing for orders placed today and tomorrow only! (Through the close of business Thursday.) I may only accept 5 or so sale orders, or let it run fully both days (whichever fills up my extra time first). I'll be posting back here to close the sale once the sale spots are all filled. The normal rate for my press releases is $99 for writing only. The 25% discounted limited rate is $74.25 / release. The sale is only available for full press release writing, and not editing services. To be eligible for the sale price, a full order must be placed with me by 5pm eastern time Thursday 3/29. By a "full order" I mean all of the below questions must be answered. Simply saying "I want to place an order" won't cut it, as the writing of sale pieces will be done Thursday and Friday only. If details come in after that deadline, you'll be charged the full rate. Here is the information I'll need if you'd like to place an order: 1. URL of the site and the site / company name. 2. The general news angle you want to get across to the public (note that I won't take on orders whose sole purpose is backlinks and traffic... you must have a genuine news angle). 3. Any background info / statistics that would be helpful (the site / company launch date is a must, owner info is a must, others might include number of past sales, average visitors, number of community members, etc.). 4. The hometown that you'd like included in the dateline. 5. The full media contact info (MUST include a minimum of a full name, email address, and phone number - mailing address and fax are optional). 6. Woot, I've been waiting for a sale. Can you write a release for a site that isn't launched yet? So it can be ready for when the site launches? (and take advantage of the discount )
lol Yep. I can do that as long as all of the basic info is available. However, since I obviously won't have access to a site to pull additional background info, you'll need to be sure to give me enough details to actually put together a full release. You can email or PM the details to me, and I'll add it to the list.
Finished a few of these up more quickly than expected today, so I'll take an additional five before the end of the day tomorrow. When I have those five, I'll be closing the sale offer here.
Can I order and pay for them now, possibly even have you write them now, but not have them released until a later date? I am making huge changes to a few of my sites and wouldnt mind having them ready to go. Also what about actual submissions?
You can release them whenever you want, but they have to be ordered by the end of the day tomorrow, to be written by the end of the day Friday, since the sale is only on b/c I made some extra time this week by cutting something else. Submissions aren't discounted, and now start at $25 / outlet for postings, or $200 minimum for manual campaigns, which would depend entirely on the niche, news, and your needs.

If not, I'll be closing it off once the next two orders come in. EDIT: I cleared up all pending orders unusually quickly today, so I can still work in a few more if anyone's interested. Since the orders today will also be to fill up tomorrow's worklist, I may extend the offer past 5pm if those spots aren't re-filled by that point, since I was expecting some of the past set to be pushed to tomorrow for writing.

OK. I just accepted the last release that I'm going to be able to guarantee to finish today. You can still get the discount rate if the details are sent, and fee is paid, today. In that case, it will be written Tuesday when I'll be back in town (still within the 48 business hours I guarantee for non-retainer orders).
