Selling: Incentive site, $700+ revenue since December

What exactly is it? An incentive site is a place where people go to fill out forms, sign up for trials, purchase items, subscriptions, etc. for prizes or cash.

How do you make money? When someone does an action through your site (fills out a form, buys something, subscribes to magazines etc.), you get a certain amount of money from the people who you have offers from. I use a company called Leadgains, there are others out there, but I this one I think fits well for me. The sales are tracked through a referral ID which the user clicks when they are about to do the action.

Costs:
$5 month hosting,
$7 a year for domain name,
Between 35-45% of gross revenue for purchasing the prizes, or giving the money that the users earn.

Time:
It takes maybe 10 minutes each day to make sure the offers are current and to add any new ones. 5 minutes or so to make paypal payouts, and if someone wants an actual item 5 minutes on amazon.com getting the item for them.

Revenue:
Right now about $200 a month, could be double that or more with some marketing.

Asking Price:
Starting bid: $500
Increments: $20
BIN: $2000

Example:
User does 6 or 7 offers, he is trying to get $50 cash. After the offers have been completed by the user, you will receive a certain amount per offer, this can range from 50 cents to $200+. For simplicity's sake, lets say that 7 offers gets you $120, around $17 per offer. You then pay the user the $50 that they earned by completing the offers, leaving you with $70, and lets take out this month's hosting, and even the domain price. All of that taken out, you have $58, and that is from one user alone.

You can also make a referral system necessary, say that in order to get your prize, you must refer 1 or 2 who gets 400 points, but in return you will get 200 points. What this does is actively encourages the user to go out and advertise for you! Posting on other forums, websites, some people even use Adwords. I have no referral requirement currently, but you would definitely get more traffic and more users if you did.

I currently run a points system, 10 points = $1, you can make it higher or lower, I just find it is easy to keep it at something like that.

You will have to start marketing again if you buy the site. I marketed by posting on 2 forums about incentive sites, I stopped marketing at the start of this month, when I decided I probably wanted to sell it. There are probably 15 or so forums dealing with incentive sites, and on top of that, users will post their referral links anywhere they can to get more people to sign up under them. Or you could also use adwords/adengage/other program to buy some clicks with keywords like "Get Paid For Surveys" or "Incentive Site".

I wanted to post though to let people know that this is a solid business plan and works really well. It comes with build in advertising (the users) and usually a nice profit from those that never finish or finish with too many referrals.
