GDPR Update In Progress

It would appear that a Google Directory update is underway (affected us this morning). We previously weren't listed, despite being in DMOZ. We now are in there and a pagerank has appeared.

This is of course good news for us, but there are always winners and loosers when a shakeup occurs.

Anyone else noticed changes today (Wednesday, Sept 7th).

 

Apparently this update is being called "Gilligan"

edit: maybe just tenatively.. still doesn't seem clear what exactly is going on... I know I have had backlinks for one of my sites, jump up, go wayback down and then back up again in the last few days.

Same site also has dropped out of tracking on several keywords.

 

I see my site moving up in it's category, indicating a directory PageRank update.

 

Yup, see 2 dmoz entries in the google directory now, one has PR0 (toolbar) but is listed as #1 with the most green I ever had

 

We're now #3 from the 12th position.

My site lost PR 4 to 3 and ther regained to 4 . I dont know whats happening.

I think my website http://kvcindia.com dissapeared from Dmoz and reappeared .

I dont know what's happening.

 

sandra, looking at the DMOZ records, I don't see your site disappearing at all. It has been listed since May of this year without a break.

 

Can someone help translating this PR img structure from GD into a real PR number?

So, looks like you'd be a PR5 or 6.

 

I think would also translate into a high pr 4 (almost 5) in the regular pr scale.
