10 Reasons Why Being A Webmaster Rocks

I originally posted this on my blog, but I'm posting it here for people to add on reasons.


Why I love webmastering :

1) You make money while you sleep.

2) You can watch Godzilla and Seinfeld at the same time as you’re “working”.

3) You get to sleep in.

4) Your hard work consists of sitting in a chair and not moving.

5) Other people work hard to not even make 1/2 as much as you do.

6) And those people laugh and you when you tell them you make websites for a living.

7) Any vacation is paid really, you can go away for a few days and still make money for it.

8 ) Did I mention you make money when you sleep?

9) Work is fun (most of the time lol).

10) Once you do some testing/learning to see what works and you start making money, making more is easy as pie.

Its funny because when people ask me what I do and I answer. SEO, SEM, Internet Marketer, Web Designer, Web developer, they are like....

No really what do you do for a living, do you sell stuff online or ebay or what??

Good list but I disagree with point 5. People may work harder and in some cases acutally get paid more. It dependfs on their job.

all your points are valid, except the fact that we don't get sleep! lol

people always ask me, what i am doing, then i tell them i make websites for my living. they usually tell me, why the hell you don't work and study, and waste your parents money
my uncle told me, that i should do a job, rather than wasting my time on internet, and am already making twice as money monthly, as he, after his 30 years or service! lol....but then it's a face. the work on the internet dosenot shows, so people think we are not exactly working

I like the idea that i am capable of making something that can reach all around the world. And about that "you hard work is just sitting.. etc." thing; most of the high tech jobs dont require a lot of movement either.

Until you can do those two, you are not a real webmaster...unless it's just a hobby and you don't plan on making money off da internet!!!!

For those of you in Rio Linda, you are dreaming, while some one 5,000 miles away from you clicks a link of yours, spends $10,000 on Amazon items, and then you wake up to find $500 waiting for you!!!

Well all you say is corect plus you stay very confortable home with a beer and smoking and making money + when i was in a relationship breacks for sex are the greates

My friends used to laugh at me but now when they see how many money i make this don't laugh anymore
