Hai guys!! actually im already back from linux seminar... so anybody can share the experience of usage with me...?? which OS did you prefer for your computer? im now confuse... but like to change my OS too as i know, in linux we need to update the driver always.. not like a windows which is when we buy a hardware (thumdrive) we just need to plug it n then it will be automatic install in windows... Anybody can share their knowledge about linux (opensource) ??
Well i use Windows becouse of the softwares i use But for me linux is mutch secure and stable .... and with this new versions of Linux it looks olso mutch bether
I am all about Linux - Suse rocks. But I still use Windows so my other half can use the sole PC I have
I have both Mandriva and Windows installed in my Laps, but seldom switch to Mandriva..That too only when there is some college assignment or when I have to learn some linux commands
mandrake worked nice for me, i have tried a few linux distros, good to try and have fun, but then not a replacement of windows. windows always work nice, i want my work done quick and fast, so i guess why the hell try linux and crash what ever i have, then spend hours fixnig them. my vote goes to windows
linux is best for security and stable like w3bmaster said. but windows is more popular platform. however, it's up to you
I'm afraid I am a slave to windows. I had slackware installed as a second OS for a while. That was fun. I particularly enjoyed the log-in quotes.
thanks for your response guys... im also think that we cannot leave a windows forever... but seriously i agree with all of you that linux is more stable and reliable... so now i change my mind to remove my windows.. For your information, now im used two OS in one time.. 1st is windows and 2nd is Linux.. Hope one days linux can be like windows, so i can remove my windows from mypc.. hehehehe go for freedom!!!
Linux is far better than Window.... In a few days I'll implementing ubuntu linux in whole Lab. I've just received CDs of ubuntu y'day
I love linux, its look like you're techie guy when you using it But when it comes to software and games, I have no choice then go to windows.
If you are tired of virus and malware you can install linux ubuntu and install general software like office, nero, adobe reader and so on
