Yes it does cost a yearly fee to get listed and back when I did it they did not even guarantee a listing although I did get listed. If I am remembering correctly it did take some time to get listed like a few weeks or something. Good luck!
it takes 5 days (in the TOS) and you will get listed as long as you follow their guidelines. I have submitted many sites and have never had a rejection

I don't understand, first your nav bar on top is off alignment. In yahoos TOS it says that your site must be no longer under construction. Read their guidelines and look for your self to see if you can get included, dont ask here, if you dont want to look yourself. Second, why are you asking us for advice on design and optomization? The website is selling services such as design and optomization. So why are there questions? shouldnt they be able to optomize the site and design it themself with no problems? I don't think I would go with a webdesign company who cant get their own site designed correctly. There is a lot of work to be done on that website if you want to compete in the optomization or design industries, in India or elsewhere. Third the grammar on the website is poor. It doesn't read well to me. I understand what is being said just fine, but the way it is said is not in proper english. If I wanted a website in English, I would not use that company.
Last time I said that you can reach some goals for free I've been spited but I will tell now that you can get to Yahoo Directory for free using some tricks. I manage to get site listing in Yahoo directory with this technique for a lot of sites. It's a little trick with My Yahoo page and content on it, but you need to have RSS feed on your site. I think that's true for certain categories but It will take an eternity to get your site reviewed. I submitted my site to a business category, it took 5 days to get it listed. Is it worth the $299/year ? I will tell you when I figure that out.
Free listings = non profit organizations, or sometimes Yahoo will ad a site to its directory which it finds especially relevant or important. You must find a way to get yahoo to notice you
Yeah submit your site to Yahoo, Inktomi and Teoma and they will not only list your site for free but will give you a privilege listing too. (talking about the site in your sig.)
Oh dear I did not even notice that site. believe me you will have to pay a lot to get that site listed even in a free directory
Do you reakon listing in Yahoo dir helps you rank in the SE, or does it make no difference? I am going great guns with Google but I may as well not exist as far as Yahoo is concerned! I've got so desperate I read somewhere it was a good idea to link to them so I've done that too- any one else read that?!
