Paypal Allowed Pakistan [wow]

Hey i want to let you know all guys the HIDDEN truth.

I have tried this and working fine for me.

Actually for Paypal Pakistan is the part of India. May be PAYPAL is using OLD geographical layout or due to other reason i m not sure about it. When you go to the sign up page after selecting your account type then select India as your country ok. Then after it PAYPAL will show you the Form to fill up. Under Citizenship Select Pakistan thats all about it. Pakistan is listed in Paypal but many of us don't know about it before. Same is the case with Mozambique. lol

P.S. I did not receive any cheque from paypal. But i think by this you can use paypal. Only the name of the country will be India but your citizenship will be Pakistani. Thats wht i found interesting and have registered an account 2 months back and never got any problem operating the account.

 

I think you might have misinterpreted that.

Paypal concern is the country of residence rather than the country of citizenship. The Citizen Country dropdown box includes every single country there is.

So if you are a Pakistani living in the US or India, you can sign up. But you cannot be an Indian living in Pakistan to sign up as Pakistan is still not any approved country.

Maybe next 5 years ummm. I doubt it too. PayPal is not adding any more countries soon, as they recently added few new countries. Adding new countries is not an easy task (really). We can only wait I guess

 

Pakistan was allowed few years before but not now. ts banned...I read somewhere. So, indian guys dont try anything kiddie so that india is also banned...

 

you guys should sign up to paypal by putting india as the country of resident and then when you want to widraw the money, widraw from other componies.
Like buy a debit card which you can fund with your paypal money and use the card to widraw from an atm machine in pakistan.

That is not possible.

If you choose India as the country of resident, then you cannot get a check sent to your home(that is the only option availble to Indians)

Indians cant withdraw the money still from ATM's in Indian, so i assume or rather i'm sure this wil not work in Pakistan.

Guys, Take my suggestion >> Get your friends or relative accept payments(who are in US or UK, i'm sure you will have some one or the other ) on your behalf and ask them to wire tranfer it to your account in Pakistan.

Good suggestion feb, but not every one has relatives in US/UK Atleast I don't have lol. But you can always ask your friends to accept payments on your behalf

Same thing happened to me when I saw this thread. I thought that paypal really listed Pakistan to it's approved countries but after reading the original Post......

 

i am indonesian and thanks to paypal now they added indonesian in approved country but i am sad that we, indonesian, can only send money by paypal not received..

this news id true that pakistanis can us the paypal account under any country selected by they cant receive money in there bank account in pakistan. its true and all pakistanis can use paypal to receive money and then sell it for e-gold or buy some value possess think. its not illegal either

 

sorry to hear that pakistan is banned from paypal, anyways, there are a lot of alternatives, so why wait for paypal.
you already have a lot of other options to go for, and everyone must have more than one way of payments, else it will create monopoly!

If Pakistan is Banned in the Country list then why it is listed under the country of citizenship list. I think if PAYPAL banned a country as someone said above it will be totally disallowed the the list of paypal. why they have listed pak in the citizenship drop menu. ???

I think it might be a trick for the Pakistani users to not sign up. Or may be by other reason.
