Just checked mine I dont see any difference besides the number of indexed pages doubled in size. That's about it.

I checked it for many sites. They started the update as predicted during the long weekend

I have one question. I noticed that if you have too domains pointing to the same website then the BLs shown in google are the same for both. Is this something new? Not the same for yahoo and msn.

It's always been like that (it's cosmetic only, does not help with rankings or anything else).

will they both have the same PR? for me this is the case. Is this a way a promote domains by simply pointing them to an existing high pr website? that would be stupid

Yes, both would have the same PR. It depends on how you "promote" it. If you get people to go to your site because you tell them you have a high PR, then sure... it could get them there, but as I mentioned previously it's purely cosmetic and does not help your rankings what-so-ever.

I totally understant that. but high pr domain is useful for something $$$ don't you agree ?

I am just asking. I may not do it, I don't have any high pr domain anyway but all the auctions we see in ebay, I doubt they might not do it especially that it takes months for the new pr to be updated.
