Selling: Site with ~$3000 profit since November

The site that I am selling is an incentive site. People refer friends and do an offer or two themselves to get things like iPods, video game systems, cash, things like that.

I haven't been marketing the site since January because I have been working on a bigger and better site. There is currently around 5 visitors per day, in order to get it generating money again, the buyer will need to do some marketing, nothing more than $100 or so though.

I am uploading proof of revenue right now.

I haven't really thought about a price, its not worth a whole lot to me right now in its current form because I am working on something else, but it wouldnt take too much effort to get it back going, Id like at least $1500 or so, but Im willing to entertain any offers.

 

I could not understand why you want to consider selling below $1500 when you make $3000 in 3-4 months.

 

$1500 would be the lowest I could go, and I made the $3000 with several hours of work setting the site up, and it takes some time each day to run (around 30 minutes - 1 hour) After spring break Im adding 2 half semester classes, and I am running my other incentive site, while at the same time building up 2 other sites.

Ive got a pretty full plate, I would just let it sit until the summer, but Im going to be doing an archaeological dig for all but the first 2 and last 2 weeks.

Sorry about the rant, long story short, the site takes time, and its time that I don't have.

Also, what is your current allowance for existing offers? For example, some people have currently earned something to winning the free products. Technically, unless you have an expiration date on their eligibility, you have to carry the debt to them on your books which would be assumed by the new buyer and should be factored into the sales price. Not doing so could wind the buyer up in a legal and/or financial mess.

Right now everyone who has qualified for their free item has already gotten it, so its a clean slate in that regard. There are a few people who have completed some offers and are getting some referrals still, right now it totals around $300-400, which I will cut off from the final sale price.

 

Ive already got the server space for a year so you will have free hosting until November.
