I was one of the fools who took up Brae's option, it did seem too good to be true but fortunately I only paid half of his asking price until he 'completed' the site (he still has 8 hours).

I have a couple of questions:

1. Can you purchase a licence for me and I will pay you, then transfer to me?
2. What sort of traffic do you reach into and grab?
3. What advertising channels do you use (Adsense, YPN, others)?
4. Do you provide posting services (eg 100 posts/threads per $x)?

I already have the domain and hosting space required.

1) i cant purchase a license for you but i can find you one that will probably take your form of payment from all the vbulletin forums im a member of.

2) channels? i will put your adsense or YPN (whatever you like) on the site and place them in the best places for earnings.

3) i just sold pay4posting.com but i do have paid posters that work for me and can assure you they have great quality posts. i can offer about 40 new posts to kick start your forum with 2 new member names.

what domain and niche are you starting so i can get my info ready.

 

I'm looking at starting a forum with the domain Userbars.ws. You should tell what sort of site it is to start with.

Where would you advertise the site? Using Adwords, YPN, Bidvertiser etc? Or other paid advertising?

i would suggest link exchanges with other design sites. i dont know how many other forums in your niche so ill have to look into that.

but adwords , link exchanges , SEO mods , would be my start. my job is to get it ready for members. i can talk to you about where and how after its built. just so you know getting the traffic for you is not part o the package. i will tell you how i do it and what the best things for you would be.

 

if he did purchase a licence for you, he can't transfer it untill after 3 months. Read the vB Agreement.

 

Sounds like a plan. I'll go buy the licence now and get things rolling on my end because Brae can't be bothered replying to PM's, MSN Msgs, and emails. So yeah

 

You know steve people like you and I should start up a partnership with our own site doing these kinds of things helping each other with the jobs, splitting profit in half etc lol.

I'm hosted on an offshoot of Godaddy, do they work well with Vbulletin or do you think I should switch hosting companies.

dont know much about godaddy hosting. if they have Cpanel im good to go. MySQL is needed as well so make sure you have that(althought 99% hosting comes with it)

Just so everyone knows you can host a forum on goddady and off any reseller from godaddy. Its just works a little different when you need to find out your mysql server since its not localhost. I host my site off a shared hosting plan works fine.
