    Hi guys,

What I'm looking for is an autofill like the google toolbar one, but where i can change the fields. Where can i find this? This should make directory submitting faster.

    Cheers
    Jamie

Be careful using these type of tools, they need to be handled correctly, and if the type sbbmits in multiple sites at the same time, that means that you are submitting the same text and data to each submission

Not advisable 1 by 1 with unique content is the way to go :)

Some tools of course may do that ........... if you find one post here for info

Sounds like we are developing the exact tool you need :p

We are currently testing a semi-automated directory submission toolbar for IE (internet explorer). Not only does it auto fill your submission page with your site details (which can be modified or changed at any time) but it also keeps track of all the directories you have submitted to therefore reducing the time wasted on directories you've already visited or submited to. Its also ubber tiny (less than 700kb) and its not a stand alone application so the toolbar is literally only limited by the speed of your internet connection!

The only negative thing about the toolbar and the directory database is that it runs off a list of general directories only (however you can of course specify what sort of directories you see ie only ones with free regular submissions etc.). We might look at adding a niche directory feature at some point in the future but are obviously concentrating on launching the toolbar for general directories to see how popular it is first.

As mentioned the toolbar is in alpha testing at the moment and we are also pulling together the website (which will also have a support forum) however we are looking to launch officially in the next 2-4 weeks all being well.

If you have any questions feel free to post or PM and ill answer any questions you might have.

    Mike

Ive just taken a look at InFormEnter - ours is a bit like that although obviously designed specifically for directory submission. Our unique point is that the toolbar (or more accurately your online profile) keeps track of which directory(ies) you have submitted to.

In addition you can also identify a bad directory from a good directory using the toolbar, this way the size of our directory database not only grows but also remains concise and up to date. I think we have all experienced visiting a directory that was marked as being free only to find out that its become paid. Our system overcomes this issue and maintains the quality of our directory list.

Book mark the site if you like: http://www.smartsubmittool.com
