Any good canadian windows hosts?

I am looking for windows hosts in Canada. Any recommendations?

Have used doteasy many times - never disappointed.
Have not used crazyhostguy, but found them doing research one time.
They are part of a larger "network" I think... something like "networx or netwerx or
networkz" I can't remember now.

They are in Hamilton, Ontario if I remember right?

Strange thing about doteasy - they do not offer ASP.NET on windows. Only ASP...I am not sure how many new sites are being coded in ASP ( I would imagine not many )

 

I never understood why someone needed the server to be located in the same country or state. It shouldn't really matter, unless your location is needed for any type of legal reason.

Not 100% sure whether it is REQUIRED to be hosted within Canada.

Well as far as I know, that’s arguable.. Its one of those things where some people say this happens and others don't, I have yet to see any solid evidence of this or even a solid debate about this. If you have any resources that prove this that would be great.

All have servers at Pier 1, basically the largest server farm in western Canada, right on the backbone that basically feeds this part of the world. hushmail is even located there.

 

I have some of my clients whose servers are at peer1 but I am at a point where I need a dedicated server.

I went with http://www.databasemart.com/

They have a good and cheap package and their support has been great so far. I know it is not in Canada - but from the article posted earlier - it looks like it does not really matter.

 

This forum loves negative feedback. Even when you help someone, you guys got to lighten up or if you disagree post why instead of hiding behind feedback.
