Question about Ad Targeting

How is this web directory getting all those meso ads on the front page? I see at least 6 meso ads in their adsense blocks, yet I don't see anything on the page to deliver those ads.

So what am I missing?

 

Set your browser UA to Mediapartners-google and then look at their page.

They are cloaking based on the UA.

They need to be kicked out of adsense and banned.

Err I'm still not seeing how you were able to determine how they got their Meso ads to show up. I downloaded and installed the UA addon changer, but still have no clue what to do..

 

You need to change it so you are showing yourself as the google media partner bot. Then when you go to the page it will display a different page to you.

?

 

Start making changes and you can test it here:

It will show you what comes in from the browser UA.

When you get it to look like:

"Mediapartners-Google/2.1 "

You should be done. Understand that sites that are cloaking based on the Google IP address ranges will still show the same pages.

Yeah, I got it to do that, but when I went to digitalseo dir site using the UA, the spots that used to have the Meso adsense ads are just blank. I also checked the source, and still nada about how they got it to pull from those non-relevant keywords.

I have no interest in trying to screw Google, but I am very curious to see how they did it. What do you see when you use the UA?

Sure, what they're doing may be against adsense terms but what im doing isnt. They'll be caught by google IF it is actually *illegal* or that important to google. I mean, if someone see's a mesothelioma LINK and they CLICK it... they WERE interested in MESOTHELIOMA OBVIOUSLY... you know? why else would they click it - so i think they arent 100% in the wrong with that.

and wow, it's unfortunate that people on this forum have to constantly gang up on people about adsense and how they "should be banned" just deal with your own stuff and ignore what others are doing.
