Got banned? Post it here

Everytime I come to this forum I see threads about people getting banned from G.
And it's starting to bug me (and I guess others also) .
So that's why I'm starting this thread were everyone who go banned can post their story.
Talked to a mod about it and he said it was fine.

    Regards

One flaw with this... We are talking about people who coul not follow the TOS for the Google Adsense program.

It is unlikely they would follow something like suggested posting topics.

Here's a simple fix for mods, automatically delete any post/thread with the word banned and post count = 1

    :)

Care to name some? Honestly not having any come to mind...

As Fryman pointed out the overwhelming majority do, so my point still stands.

I know of three members here who have got terminiated with out breaking the rules, out of 8,911 members. (I think 99.99% would be one member out of 10,000 :D, then the ones that never even talked about it.) One member got back in, one didn't, and one is currently trying to get back in.

I know of 4 that got booted, 2 got back in, the other 2 on reflection had "bent" the TOS.

If anyone does get booted and is reading this DON'T POST "i got booted" it does not help anyone. Instead read the TOS, if you are 100% sure you did not break it then email G telling them you are sure you are within the TOS and ask them to investigate.

I agree that there are people get banned with out doing illegal on their adsense account.

And some member of this forum is envious or take personal some comment on their post. And to get revenge they make illegal clicks to someone's ads to get them ban. :(

i wouldn't put it past SOME people to try. Of course no one knows if anyone sinks that low, but it's certainly possible, especially with the kiddies you hate so much. ;)

I don't believe that you can get "booted" for sabatoge. Suspended and reinstated, yes.

There is no such thing as "no reason". It is an automated system and Google gets no benefit out of kicking people out for "no reason".

That doesn't mean mistakes are not made but they are made because some flag correctly went up. There are many people who have been able to prove that that "flag" was actually something legitimate.

They won't post the details here though as they are not looking to risk their account just to prove a point.

Nearly every post here has been a legitamate ban as somewhere around page 2 they admit to clicking on their own ads. Even if its once, thats grounds for a ban.

I don't believe clicking your ad once is a grounds for a ban, I'd bet most people have done it accidently at one time or another and Google knows it. I know I have, sent G an email and no worries. I'm sure with all thier tracking they can tell if it's an odd erroneous click or someone cheating.

Well, its up to them to decide when to enforce it...I have just seen posts here advocating 3 clicks on your own ads a day is fine but 4 may be a problem.

    You shouldn't click at all!

There are plenty of ways to prevent accidental clicks so ignorance isn't an excuse.

The point of my post is that you can't complain its for "no reason". If you clicked once, technically thats a reason. If Google decides to ignore it, then that is their decision.

I'm pleading ignorance here, how do you prevent accidental clicks?
    Thanks
