Hi folks, I was reading through some of the FAQ and Suggestions Feedbacks at Digital Forums, then I realized that I could be banned from Digital Forums for some of my threads. I think I started one too many threads of similar nature. True to it, I got a Infractions ticket, now I'm feeling really bad about it. So I decided to write this posts to warn others out there not to do the same as what I did. Instead, here's some things I could do. 1. Contribute to useful articles/posts to Digital Points. 2. Share your success/failure story. 3. Be nice to others, there's some really nice and helpful people here. Many of which are really successful and helpful than those bosses I got in my office. 4. Give your feedback and suggestions to Digital Points Forums. It's always good to give feedback. Hopefully, more people will read this thread and not 'spammed' Digital Point Forums as I did in the past. For me personally, I will only start a thread a week, and the only advertisement I will use is in my signature. *punishment* I will be nice from now on...
This what we should always do. Another point I would like to add is: 5. Before starting new thread use "Search" option.
Good one there are quite a few repeated threads in the forums. Also, I'm glad you realized! Good posts also lead to reputation points!
YIAM - Yes, Search is a good starting point for new threads at Digital Points Forums. Whenever I started a new thread, there's always someone telling me that it's a repeated thread. I did my search, and it's really there. I guess it would be good to let newbie like myself to know that in our newbie orientation programme.
Thank you for all the encouragements guys! Next I think I will a thread - 'what all newbies must know/do before starting a thread at DP' I guess it will be useful materials too.
REally a Develpomet in your thinking. this will help us all t have great forum member, who dont post useless.
