What is better for marketing according to you.. Facebook or Google?

So I came across a post which compared Facebook and Google as marketing platforms. It got many responses with people giving their vote on either as one of the 2. However, I couldn't get numbers as to which is more popular or which is more liked by the internet community.

Therefore, I have created a poll for everyone to take so we can get an better idea of which is a better platforms.

 

Facebook Fan Page is Better for Marketing. Once somebody will like your facebook fan page, they will become fans for your page. In fan page wall, you can share your URL containing news, business offers, discounts in that page and it goes to all the Fans. This way your message will reach to Maximum number of people!!

 

Nice information Zita. But if you are ranked highly for your keyword which has high global searches, you can also reach the maximum number of people.

 

Facebook is more preferred as comparable to Google when it comes to social networking.

 

Both of them are really good. But in traffic, Facebook is advanced then Google in Bangladesh.

 

It depends on what you are marketing

 

The two can work in tandem so there is no reason to separate. Social signals are more important than ever now to rank in Google and what is the nest place to accumulate those? Facebook. However for quick, targeted traffic, there is nothing better than Facebook ads. If you still want to focus on organic traffic, then it is Google.

 

Google is better for marketing. It gives good traffic also.

 

For marketing Fb is better than Google. You can drive traffic from facebook for your site.

 

Google is surely the best to search information if you want to search for people then use facebook.

 

I guess you wanted to say Google+, in this case I choose Facebook(it's more populated).

 

The comparison is not between Facebook and Google+, it is a comparison between Facebook and Google ie. a social networking site and a search engine. I would like to know what people would choose out of both of them.

 

I think both are important but it all depends on what market you are targeting. Most people use google search engine in same time spending a lot of time on facebook. Conclusion is that both are great players in internet marketing. Don't underestimated power of both, do SEO and in same time facebook marketing, it is good way to success!

Google+ is far much better than facebook.It has better privacy settings.Its one and all the Google itself which every one knows that it is good.

Positive(+) points of Facebook:more people are using it, but as an entertaining channel to play games and share their personal stuffs.
Negative(-) points of Facebook:zero privacy,full of malware sites and advertisements etc.

Now I am listing the positive and negative points of google+.

Positive (+) points of Google+: hangouts feature which allow to video chat with group of people.Circle is there to post privately that only few people whom you want can see your posts.It is much clear and have no advertisements.

Negative(-)points of Google+:Nothing except that we cannot post in others circles untill people add us to their circles.

 

According to me, Facebook is better for marketing.

 

Google is the best according to marketing analysis.
