Umm, did I miss something, or did Google increase the page size that they will cache now? I just was looking for my friend's wife's email address and to make a long story short, Google shows the page size as 209k. When did they increase it from 101k?
It's been doing it for awhile, but only for certain sites it seems. For example, there are a couple pages on my www.winn-and-sims.com domain that are over 100k, but they are truncated at 101k like the old way. And those pages are spidered recently (yesterday to be specific).
This was pointed out on HR about 9 months ago, when it started though lord knows. Has the entire page been cached or has it been truncated? In many of the cases I looked at back then the page size was shown but the page had been truncated, while others were not.
Looks like they have upped the throttle on this. This page is over 550k http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:....txt+texascollegeguide&hl=en&client=firefox-a
