Jensense highlights Section Targeting as discussed here at DP and at Threadwatch. Tip 1: The obvious tip and anyone using AdSense is probably way behind the 8 ball if they don't already do this - get an AdWords account and find out what your keywords pay / anything semantically related that you mention in your content) to see what content to highlight / downplay. I'm going to do some tests with this to see what ads I can get to show. I'll publish my findings here. If you are going to implement section targeting for AdSense please post here. and publish any findings you have. At this stage it looks like Jensense's true puppie content (read her post [linked above] to get the puppie meaning) may be an issue for those wanting to skew things too far... I'm hoping it earns publishers / Google more... encouraging Google to move to the ability to specify keywords you want to display ads for. That would really help publishers IMO as I know what my visitors are interested in seeing ads for better than the Google ad bot does. Our homeless site for example gets a ton of visitors but AdSense match ads to the content with such low payout it's not worth bothering the visitors with their ads. If I can provoke the right ads to show this will allow the site to earn better via AdSense.
Cheers for the tip. Why haven't G fixed the broken link in the answers section about this yet. Sheesh. Pete
