While i submitting my social travel networking site to directories (good related), i got error "The URL could not be validated. Either the page does not exist or the server could not be contacted." My Social Travel portal is like that https://abc.com/ . Can anybody help me how can i solve this issue while directory submission. Thanks, Rahul
This site is not opening. If this is your website. Ask your web developer or there may be any hosting issue.
hmmm. i think i experience that at past. maybe the section already expires . maybe you need refresh it or something.maybe.
Ok......I got now. websites with "https" has security protocols & their seo submissions is not possible. Google does not like websites with "https". Further, I have no experience about it. Maybe I have wrong idea..........
Hi There are sometimes problem with the directory site. Anyways you should cross check your website. Thanks.
That has nothing to do with it. You have the wrong idea. @webtrooperz123: The https:// will prevent quite a few directory scripts (and therefore directories) from validating your URL, because they are expecting to see "http://", so they come back saying that the URL is invalid. The phpLD team was posed this question on another forum and their response was "Just tested https://google.com in the frontend and admin of a 4.2.0 installation and it is working fine for me. If you have an older version, you might try grabbing the /javascripts/jquery.validate.js from the latest version, or better yet, upgrade!" So in the case of phpLD it works on the later versions, sadly most directories will be using free or earlier models of the script, and since they won't be aware it doesn't work they are unlikely to upgrade. Not sure about the resolution of the "validity" issue on other scripts as the owners never seem to answer any questions at all...
Hello everybody I am doing directory submissions for my directory website, but when I choose reciprocal listing plan and put their reciprocal link on my website and submit the form then an error is coming "Our reciprocal link is not found on your website", I received this error on more than 10 websites now, can you guess what kind of mistake I am doing? This is my website link. Thanks a lot Smith Jones
The problem could be due to the https:// protocol. When the target sites try to fetch data from your site (using the https:// to verify their reciprocal code) they probably get failed there. Try the same with http:// and it should pass through.
