All, I’ve got some good news to share and wanted to start a thread here. Since we’ve rolled out our new advertising system, my goal was to be even more engaged in message board discussions to help you with questions or concerns. I think the DigitalPoint community embraced that goal, because I’ve been pretty busy keeping up with posts and private emails- thanks ;-) To help grow our involvement on the boards even more, I’ve recruited a colleague of mine to serve as a new rep for the boards, YahooPete. He will have more time to dedicate to issues specifically about Yahoo! Search Marketing, while I start to focus more on threads about the Yahoo! Publisher Network (doing both took quite a bit of time, and this is only a part of what I do for Yahoo!). I’m still around though, so you may see me chime in from time to time. We really do appreciate all the feedback you have given us over the past few months and we look forward to continuing the dialogue. Welcome YahooPete- good luck! YahooSarah
Interesting to see Yahoo put more resources towards us DP'ers. Matt Cutts couldn't run fast enough....tough crowd.
Hi there, Thanks for all the feedback. I'm look forward to joining the conversations on the Digital Point boards and hopefully helping out. Best, YahooPete
Welcome YahooPete. It's wonderful to see you guys take such an interest. First port of call..... When are you guys going to sort your geo-targeting options? Right now, I want to target only the US and FOUR European Countries. Why do I have to set up separate accounts? Again.... welcome
What I want to know, is do Yahoo have every possible YahooFirstname combination registered on DP for future use? Welcome Pete, nice to have people you can grab hold of with questions and suggestions.
Damn welcome to Digital Point you two! We're glad to have you here and I look forward to properly introducing myself once I become invited into the Yahoo! Publisher Network.
Hi there Cianuro, In response to your question about geo-targeting options, most of our Yahoo! advertisers tell us they manage their campaigns and their marketing spend on a country-by-country basis. For that reason, we provide accounts to advertisers on a market-by-market basis. Yahoo! is listening to feedback from advertisers who would prefer to manage their campaigns and spend on a more global basis and will take it into consideration as we plan for future releases. Hope that helps, YahooPete
Hi There, I would like to know what is the maximum time response for the editorial team to approve an advertising account in Yahoo's search marketing? (Y!SM) (Paying with credit card) Thanks.
