    Yeah, wordpress would be could since its easy to optimize.. And for your topic, its really depend on your like. Its only you who can answer that one. It doesn't matter on what is the trend nowadays. As long as your content is interesting and informative for sure you'll get many reader. Good luck to you.

    Wordpress or blogger - try both and make choice. Blogger is better for me but wordpress is a more professional blog platform.

    ANS 2: Blogging does not reqiire software. But some bascic software needed like as MS word, Photoshop, Graphics, Web design codes apps etc.

    or free promotion by:
    1. post to directory
    2. Post on do follow website ( such as : Squidoo and HubPages ) are able to generate back-links to your websites, and you get more your back-link juice.
