Till now I have just developed websites SEOed them and ranked them high on search engines to get some income from Adsense. But, seeing the opportunities I am missing out, I really want to know more about affiliates and how to earn revenue. I am still a baby in the affilite world. Please give me some resources, through which I can learn some thing. Thanks.
Hi, You can take a look at the first website in my signature. I offer affiliate training and education. Another great source is Allan Gardyne's wwwAssociateprograms.com Jim
There are many free resources and forums about affiliate marketing on the web. You will learn a lot there, however it is better to have a blueprint, a roadmap to follow. Unlike adsense, affiliate marketing is a real business founded on solid principle. It is not the case with adsense since you are not in control. http://www.Associateprograms.com http://www.mynetmarketingland.com http://affiliate-marketing-forums.5staraffiliateprograms.com/index.php? This will get you started. If you want to get the complete picture fast, I advise you to get the Super Affiliate Handbook.
Hey kGrad If your just starting out in the affiliate business you must sign up to MoreNiche, they have a lot of guides explaining how to get started, and answer almost any questions you could ever have.. commissions can be up to $175 alot better than the 5c adsense click Best of luck with it all Troyso
Hi Troyso, I don't mean to put a damper on your MoreNiche crusade to get other affiliates under you, but you should tell people it is mainly an adult products site before you send them there. There are plenty of affiliate marketers who care about what they market over the commissions they might make. jim
Hey Jim, Fair enough comment,, Moreniche were origionally Mensniche and all of their products were adult related. They have changed their name to moreniche and have started to promote mainstream products to further there own business. They have plans to continue adding mainstream products and have added two this year already. Even if you are somewhat offended that they sell a sex guide or whatever, they still give you access to their affiliate guides if you sign up even if you dont choose to promote their products. No harm in gaining access to this information. Troy
Hey Troy, Thanks for replying. I am always hesitant about confronting a fellow member. There are a lot of whackos out there. Your reply was most professional, and gives me more respect for you as an affiliate marketer. I like that! I am not offended. In fact, I have already agreed through another affiliate to sign up under him when I have a chance. I am currently redesigning two of my websites right now and building another. I know this is a tremendous market, and I plan to enter it as soon as these other 'front burner" projects are completed. I didn't post because I was offended, but because I thought someone else might be without prior knowledge. With the way MoreNiche helps their current affiliates, I would welcome more mainstream products. They seem like a class act...only a mostly adult class act right now...and, some might want to know that before clicking your link. Best of luck to you in More Niche. Jim
Attn: mods. -> troyso affiliate links are okay in sigs but not in your post, especially when saying you MUST sign up....
now for kgrad. if your interested in getting into aff. marketing start reading everything you can about the subject. i recommend signing up with AzoogleAds (see sig) because of their net 15 payments and high guaranteed payouts. Another import thing is always keep excellent tracking (stats are king) to know your best converting offers, and so you can do testing hope this helps
You make a very good point for the Mods to take notice of jessecooper. I didn't even notice that in my haste to caution Troy that maybe some members might want prior warning that Moreniche is still mainly an adult affiliate site. A tool I would recommend straight up is Ken Evoy's "Affiliate Masters Course". It is still considered the "bible" of affiliate marketing training and it is still f-r-e-e. You can get it at http://aff-masters.sitesell.com/. Then, when you are done, download his book "Making Your Content PRESell" at http://mycps.sitesell.com/. These are invaluable for new and/or struggling affiliates. I think there is enough sentiment in the industry, especially from giants like Allan Gardyne (AssociatePrograms.com) that Ken Evoy "wrote the book" and is one of the Leaders in modern day affiliate marketing. Jim
- Affiliate marketing is to promote products and services of a merchants - study what your readers and what they need and which the products that can help them to resolve their problem and then choose merchant not every merchant , learn carrefully about the merchant or network which is the third party, learn more at www.affiliateclassroom.com they have good mazagine and learn my sig you can take many information. - before you jump learn more and more, it's easy to recommended prodcuts or to join affiliate program and add garbbage to your web site but it very, very difficult to make money, it is more important to understand the affiliate industry.
