I've puzzled over this for ages...

    Back in '95 I flew from Cairo to Bangkok and saw these wierd circles in the desert. I was never able to explain them properly and I think people thought I was mad.

    Well thanks to my new-found obsession with Google Earth I've found them again....

    Does anyone know what they are?

    That makes sense. amazing. I wasn't sure because of the straight lines making them semi circles and segmented like pie charts. and what's with the blue one?

    Since you're into water, what did you think of Auckland getting it's water from the Waikato?

    I'm in Pt Chev, but I used to surf and lifeguard out at Piha, long long ago. These days I just look at my gear and get wistful.

    I have 114 GB of disk space left. :) lol, anyways, that was wierd for a moment until I read the article. Too bad it wasn't like aliens or something, lol.

    I'm not to sure, now I look again at those, they look different to the Sahara ones. Can't figure out the wedges?...Possible alien activity? - I wish.
