Apparently last Monday the CEO of Registerfly shut the site down because he is not in agreement with the other owner. Registerfly now have 14 days to fix some errors or ICANN can pull the plug. Get out now while you can get out cheap. If you wait untill Registerfly closes down or are closed down it will be a lot of hussle and costs for you. http://blog.domaintools.com/2007/02/icann-accredited-registerfly-implodes/ http://blog.domaintools.com/2007/02/private-registrations-may-cost-owners-their-domains/ The best offer for transfer from Registerfly is to dotster, witch is a nice company. dotster.com gives you transfer from registerfly for $5. Enter the coupon code, " registerflies " in the coupon code field.
RegisterFly did send out an email a few weeks ago and when they did, I did transfer my domains over to Enom.
Why do you think so ? They have been promising things for 3 years. And don`t tell me that you believe them if they say something, in that case you would be the only one left.
No, there are no signs of anybody buying them and they have not expressed the wish to sell. And no one will buy the company if they loose their registrar status again. They will most probably loose that if they do not fix their issues in 14 days. Please read the links in my first post.
I have a few domains with them, but I'll move them .. I red too many complaints about them Thanks for letting us know, login! This made me decide
Registerfly is the stupidest site ever. I have like 5 domains there.. but I won't transfer them.... let them take them with them to hell.
i have my 10 sites on them what will happen to me if i havent transfered it? BTW i havent received any email as others have mentioned
I'd say contact the support people over at eNom. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
Sorry, but whats the point of posting just "it will be fine" and "you will see" and so on ? If you cannot explain more your posts have no use, its enough of people just guessing things here at DP anyway. If you can explain yourself you are welcome to do so. To the others: If you want to change registrar the best offer for transfer from Registerfly is to dotster, witch is a nice company. dotster.com gives you transfer from registerfly for $5. Enter the coupon code, " registerflies " in the coupon code field when transfering. And why not change registrar, its cheaper than to renew the domain at Registerfly anyway.
That’s exactly why I’ll stick with Godaddy. They might be a bit more expensive but at least I know they won’t go out of business over night.
hehe every company is just grabbing now for registerfly users. The same companies also spread things around how bad they are. As I see director got sacked and the board is in control now. They said they will get things solved .... so what now ? Should we all just spend even more money because some people are guessing that they will go to hell ? You think domains will just get lost somewhere or what ?
