I'm using PHP Designer 2005 by MPSoftware. When I downloaded & installed it, it was still free, but the newest version, 2007, no longer is free (except a very limited program). However I love PHP Designer a lot, and I consider getting myself full version 2007

I have been using Programmers notepad for PHP, Javascript, HTML and CSS coding. Its a really awesome. Try it. http://www.pnotepad.org/
I am using EditPlus. Its good. I tried PSPad, but it is too slow. Same is the case PHP designer 2005 too. Too many unwanted features which make it slow. But I can not even think of programming in Notepad. If there was no syntax highlighting, I would have quit programming long back
