MoneyBookers & Entropay Users in India - Can credit card be used for funding account

Can you please confirm if a credit card can be used to fund a Moneybookers or Entropay account, or will that create any problems with RBI regulations, etc.?

From what I've heard, it seems like public sector banks (SBI, IDBI, etc.) have blocked their credit & debit cards from being used on both these sites. But what about private banks like Kotak, Axis or HDFC?

Anybody from India having experience in MoneyBookers/Entropay credit card funding, please advice. Which banks are best for this kind of funding (if any) without problems, issues of regulatory hassles?

I have used SBIcards for Entropay without any issues but that was more than a year back and since then Entropay has deleted my account for non activity so I am not sure if it still works.

The best way to find out if it works for you is try it with your own credit card.

 

I don't have a credit card as yet but am in the process of applying for one.

Given that some banks' cards seem to work on certain sites while others are blocked, I wanted to know the best working cards in this scenario, so that I can apply for the same.

 

I don't think it matters because RBI regulations apply to all banks.

 

Entropay will not work on moneybookers.Open the account in HDFC and use the vcc card. Axis bank is the worst one,i am going to close soon.They charge a lot of funds if amount is less 5000, sorry now they increase to 10000 IN JUNE 2012. In the entropay account ,you have to submit the debit card or cc card xerox copy, driver license/passport etc

 

Canara Bank debit cards works fine with Entropay !

 

I wouldn't recommend linking Entropay cards to PayPal or Moneybookers. They are likely to close your payment account for linking prepaid cards.

 

I have used my HDFC debit card with Entropay. very smooth , but using a hdfc netsafe card is better than Entropay.

 

SBI Debit Cards can be used for Entropay with out any Issues. Even ICICI Bank Card works fine.Regarding Credit Cards SBI, ICICI, HDFC Bank Cards work fine with them.

 

I had funded once with Bank Of India.

I had used my SBI Debit Card in Entropay two months ago and it worked fine. They all work if you have access to VBV OR 3D SECURE

 

today I try to add some fund in my new entropay account but not worked n they say to verify my debit card but when i try to verify the unable to charge some eruo from my debit card now what I do ?

Not recently. If they want to verify cards now, then u need credit card, coz debit card do not have authorization system.
