New Italicized Adsense Ads or Virus

look at these ads that appeared on my site's ads, are they new or is it a possible virus?

I hope it's new.....

I saw some italicized ads on my site too.
So its not virus for sure.

Yup! I saw that in one of my sites too. I though it was just a problem in loading the ads so I refreshed the page. After that, the ads returned to normal.

I've had these on my forum too, starting today. I think it's Google trying to vary the look of the ads a bit to prevent 'blending'. They also vary the 'Ads by Google' text too.

Yeah googles been changing the ads up the last few days. Ive seen italic text, the ads by google being the google image and other different variations. As said above, they are probably making the ads less blendable.

Hm, why would they want to prevent blending? Didn't they intentionally change the default colour scheme just to encourage blending by making the borders white?

I saw italicized titles on my site as well as the other Google Goodies (Ads By Google gif, Google G gif)

While I don't believe that there is anything wrong (I have seen a bunch of things changing on ads, including the Ads by Goooooogle), your argumentation is somewhat funny.

I am seeing ads italized too, just started tonite

This was really bad:

on a leaderboard, i had two ads showing: 1 title italicized and the other normal. Looks so fugly !
