Suggestion What to do in order to prevent creating duplicate thread?

I sold a website here but the buyer didn't pay.

Ideally I want to bump the thread and restart the website auction is there functionality to do so?

If I can't do that than I have no option but to create a new thread.

Correct... A relist is just that.

I think there is a bug with the relist feature.

A bidder got the following message "This auction has ended and is no longer accepting additonal bids" when I relisted the auction and it was still active.

The prior auction was strictly a BIN auction, with the relist I added a minimum bid, but they couldn't place it.

Are you 100% certain you did it as a relist (it's a checkbox when you bump)? I checked the code that does the bump, and it's pretty black and white... if it's a relist, the system resets the sold flag to false. Not a whole lot that can be mucked up as far as the backend goes.

I am 100% sure I did a relist when bumping the thread.

I'm not really sure to be honest... I just duplicated that thread, made me the owner of the duplicate and then tried doing a bump/relist and it worked fine for me (it was indeed marked unsold). I guess next time you do a relist of something, let me know and do it when I'm around so I can watch it to see if there's something bizarre going on with your account somehow (not sure how it would be possible though).

There is definitely a bug with the bidding system for relisted auctions. They keep on getting errors when trying to place bids once it's been relisted.

check any relisted auction, clearly there is a bug, it's happened enough times to be more then just a one off glitch, and another member in this thread replicated the error.

digitalpoint, I believe your administrative rights are interfering. Create a new account and try to bid yourself.

There's nothing internally that tags it as a relist... that's why I was asking if anyone knows of an auction it's happening on... :)

I think I may have found what the issue is for some relists. It's fixed now.
