.CO or .IN? Which one should I go for?

Hello,

I want to register a domain name it's .CO, .ORG & .IN and some other extensions are available so which one should I choose? The blog will be related to Tech & Internet Marketing.

It will focus on India but am confused whether to go for .IN itself as it may not perform well on Google.com.

And if you were to choose between .NET or .CO then which one would you prefer?


Google is considering .CO as a generic domain name like .COM, .NET but I have yet to see .CO domains in SERPs....

 

I would go for .CO and took .IN as well just to be sure

I have researched a bit and tested a .CO blog (internet marketing related) and I see that its performing well on SERPs... its got a PR of 4 and Alexa of 100,000 with over 9000 backlinks according to Moz.

Choose .org

if you are focus on india SERP, choose .in

I prefer .net

 

I'd always choose .net, .org. or .com. The other ones are harder to get ranked...not impossible..but jsut harder.

 

Thats true, but if you want people to memorize your domain you should go for .com or your local suffix

 

.org will be the best option.Otherwise chooce .in
