This is a marine electronic ecommerce site that has been inactive for more than a year. However, the site
has sold products worth millions in the past. 2005 was the best year for this website, it made sales worth $760,000 in a single year. I have statements to prove the previous sales.

The site was owned by someone else when the sales were great. However, it died down pretty much after I acquired it because I was not able to find someone to dropship the products. Although the site has not been promoted for more than 3 years, it receives around 200 unique visits a month. Once you add products, you will
be able to see good sales. The site is ranking for nearly 38 low search keywords at the moment. I paid a great price to acquire this in 2011. You can own it for a very low price since the site is pretty much inactive at the moment. You will have to find a supplier by yourself. If you want to see the past sales please send me your email address because it is in PDF format.

Remember, the site had great reputation in the past. It was set up in 2004. Good estabished record and had sold products worth millions in the past. I am not looking for a very high price but make a reasonable offer. Thanks!

    Sales record below:

    2004 (4 months) $117,000
    2005 $768,000
    2006 (4 1/2 months) $138,000
2007 $ 0 ( the site was sold here so no sales record available for this year)
2008 (3 months) $ 16,000 ( the earlier owner bought the site again in 2008 when he had enough funds for buyback)
    2009 $ 14,000
    2010 $ 5,400
    2011 (YTD) $ 1,600

The site has not been promoted the website since 2008 hence the drop in sales. I took over in 2011 mid and post then I made no sales because I was not able to find a good supplier/ dropshipper. The site is currently hosted on bigcommerce. All reasonable offers accepted

I tookover the site in mid 2011 and have not touched it since. Looking for a fast sale now. You will have to find a dropshipper or supplier for the site and just by adding products the site traffic and sales might potentially boost a bit. I can tell the dropshipper to the winning bidder that was used in the past. They require someone in United States so I was not able to use their services once I took over the site. The profit margin were around 20 to 50% depending on the product sold. On some high end items, on a single sale, one can make hundreds of dollars.

In the past, the site ranked for several keywords. The trafic was organic and also the seller used adwords.

When this site has been more or less dormant I just wonder will Google changes how hard it might be to actually get it back to 2005 levels

The Google changes hasn't effected it's main keyword ranking for "seattle discount" which only gets 28 exact searches per month. So you'll need to do a complete SEO job on the site to get it ranking for all inventory related keywords with good exact search traffic. The only saving grace is that it's an aged domain (since July 2004) so you should easily be able to get on first page for many keywords without issue. That being said, as of right now the site is only worth the domain and 3-6 times current monthly income, if any.

Course, what is your asking price?
