Selling: Strongest Brands (phpld 3) directory

I had a great vision for this site and believe that in time it will blossom into something unique (and lucrative). But, my day job is really consuming my full attention right now and will for at least the next year, so I don't have the time to dedicate to this site to make it grow properly.

The script contains several custom modifications (I made myself) for seo as well as for the payment system. This is not a basic directory like thousands of other phpld directories. There are no featured or sponsored listings. There are no Adsense or other PPC ads. Listings are sorted by their “Strength Rank (SR)” which loosely corresponds to how much a business has chosen to pay/donate to the directory. Businesses can make additional payments at any time to boost their Strength Rank.

The site includes the logo (my avatar currently). The buyer will be obligated to maintain the current payment agreement with the graphic designer (of the logo) which consists of running an ad in the directory email notifications until November 2007.

The directory is mentioned on all the major free directory lists and gets a steady stream of submissions. Revenue is currently sporadic but should pick up after the site finally gets a PageRank assigned.

Selling to the highest bidder by February 28 (end of this month). Starting bid is $100 (basically the cost of the domains, phpld license, and programming for custom mods - I'm giving it away).

 

Nice Directories -- Can you provide more details on traffic stats and revenue ?

Why is there a redirect from the 2nd one on the 1st one ?

When i click 'submit' it says "you are banned" !!


Note : Dont you think that if you keep the auction period soooo long - most people would tend to loose interest ??

 

Traffic is averaging about 50 uniques a day and revenue is pretty much non-existant at the moment.

The redirect is because I favor the hyphenated domains for seo purposes, but keep the non-hyphenated for type-in traffic. Feel free to reverse the primary and secondary if you like.

I've only had one other person mention a similar problem with the 'banned' message. I'd need more details from you to troubleshoot. PM me details of your submission (and a screen-shot of the error if possible) if you'd like for me to look into it.

I have no idea what the standard auction run is here. I just wanted to give folks who don't visit every day a chance to bid. I could end the auction sooner if it makes it more interesting for bidders.

The stats are in the right pane (frame). The left pane containing that message is not important. The page is a copy of the AWSTATS, not the stats system itself.

I still can't see the stats. WHich is the registar? is the template unique?

 

The domains are registered at godaddy. The template borrows design elements from a 3rd party template, but I developed it using CSS with a minimal use of tables. It's very lean.
