I am thinking about switching my desktop for a laptop but,.... I have DW, Fireworks, Flash plus a few smaller image editors and music programs. Would a laptop with all this software run slower than a desktop?
It depends, it the hardware configuration is high just as what riksworld said, then these software run on laptop will not be slower.
The laptop is very simple to get into carry it every where, and the ability already very high and fast, but by no means stay away from computers dektop now on,for someone still use it,..
It depends. I generally prefer desktop PC, because its a lot cheaper for the same configuration, but if you work on your PC, it is very convenient to have a laptop instead, because then you can work wherever you want. Be careful though, laptop can be stolen easily on subway/train, etc. if you fell asleep...
Laptop will do the job. I have all these software on my Llaptop and more. Just choose the right hardware configuration.
Laptops have came a long ways.. You should be fine, just remember to uninstall all the stupid bloatware.
Buy a Laptop with good configuration. Nothing matters whether it's a laptop or a desktop, only hardware configuration matters.
Laptop is better to work when we're on the go or when we're out of house/office. Desktop is very preferable when i work from home/office.
You can get laptops with just as much power to run your apps as desktops, but it will cost more. I prefer desktops because they are easier to expand and upgrade.
If it is intended for just a home use then I prefer desktop but if it is for business better to have a laptop.
