Latest Ping List

Ive been using this and got quite a bit of traffic on un-advertised sites

Go to your admin cp > options > writings - at the bottom of the page theres a place to add pinging services add the following there!



Some reputation (greeen) is appreciated ^_^

Hey?? I've had that list for months. It's a pretty good list. If anyone can come up with a bigger and better list then please do so.

Thanks CSS i sure will im always finding new sites to add to my ping list, and if i cant edit the list later ill ask a mod to do so, so no worries

Yep and those are not really sites more like ping services

 

Do they slow down the publish time?
I've had around 20 sites listed in the ping list but whenever I clicked the publish button,it gave me a "server not found" error.
I'll give it a try anyways,thanks!

 

Nop i never had a slow down in publishing time i think the process is like this in wp

---Save post to db

---Entry in posts

---Entry in categories

---Entry for front page/latest post

---Output link to post on post page

---Ping services

---Update feeds

I dont seem to get any trtaffic from these damn pings. Been using them since I started. but no good.

 

The Ping is how I get all my traffic on a few of my blogs!

Thanks a lot. But pinging all the site will make posting time more longer. Got any alternative ways to ping all the site without putting all the links inside wordpress dashboard ping list.

There is no such thing as pinging services slowing down posting time, i have more then 400 on my blogs and i post with in 3 secs
