Crawler errors has two types: URL error and Site error. You must have to check what are these errors in your website and then remove from there.

When a request is made to your server for a page on your site (for instance, when a user accesses your page in a browser or when Googlebot crawls the page), your server returns an HTTP status code in response to the request.

Redirect the errors to the most relevant pages - also create a custom 404 error page with a sitemap to help visitors. Look at where the errors are coming from and if they are using a path which is nothing to do with the structure of your website then use your robots.txt to prevent Google crawling it.

Yes, as Revaxmedia said, create a custom 404 error page that will keep people on your website and will help them find what they want. I recommend also that you add a Google Custom Search box that will enable the visitor to your 404 page to search for their intended topic. If you're not sure what a custom 404 error page looks like, take a look at mine. Here's a deliberately faulty link to my website. It will drive you to my custom 404 page — http://www.jimfeeney.org/fishersofmenn.html

It is because your sitemap.xml is outdated. Update or create a new sitemap file for your site and submit it again.

p.caspian, you log into your web hosting service (in my case, GoDaddy) and search for "custom 404" or some similar wording. They will guide you through the process of creating a custom 404 error page.

I heard they have some plugins that looks out for those errors and just redirects to home page when that happens and alerts you so google doesn't penalize. Forgot what it was.

This means, Google is crawling your URLs in the Sitemap but could not find the pages. Either they were deleted or links are broken.

404 usually mean that a page is not found/unavailable at the time of Google crawl.
