What to do if some one else uses your photo on their DP avatar?!!

    A funny thing is happening. Some one just stole my avatar, ripped it and is using on his profile.

    If its an ordinary avatar, I wouldn't have cared about it. If it's a photo of your face, what should you do :) People copy everything, even some one else's face !

    Hey Mr. Card, please remove my face from your profile :p

    I am the original person and I paid $15 to get some one to draw my caricature. Looks like I have to work with DMCA to take them down... lol :p

    Then go on with the DMCA and before that make sure that you've the proofs to prove that it your own picture/image. also try contacting forum admin/mod regarding this.

    C'mon Card... do the right thing. Get your own avatar.
    It's one thing to copy someone's avatar, but when it's actually a caricature of their own face, then it's kinda pathetic.

    So, you don't have to use some one else's. You can just use your face as your avatar :)

    It is really pathetic to get copied especially your face. Just give a warning to Mr.Card that you're going to report this matter to forum moderators to get banned from here. Hope he will lift your avatar immediately...
