Movement in MSN serps

I usually see a difference in MSN serps every few days, when optimising for a keyword without too much competition, and using a reasonable amount I see my term move up(or down) a few positions every few days.

For 2 keywords I have been watching they haven't moved in the serps for roughly 7 days. I know this isn't a long time in G but MSN seems to shuffle the serps around a lot more frequently.

Has anyone noticed this over the last few week?

The way I see it work for mine is my site gets bumped up one day, and then it moves down a position every couple of days and then about a week later, it gets bumped back up again.

For the last three or four days mine haven't moved either, but I think that's fairly normal (for my sites).

my ranks have changed about every day and a half for the past few days. One of my terms for one of my sites moved from nowhere, to 47, to 9.

I was kinda shocked how rapidly serps were updating....

maybe serps in your arena are a bit more stable.

I have a website ranking in top10 in google and yahoo for a keyword with more then half a million overture, but I am nowhere in top 1000 in MSN. What do you think can be the reason ?

Yep, I've seen simillar of late too. No movement for a couple of my sites now at #1 & 2 over the past two weeks (oddly enough they're very competitive terms too).

The eye of the storm.. :)

    Cheers,

    JL

Can't try to answer this without a URL to your site so I can look at it.

Im still seeing no movement, like everyone else Im used to see MSN moving every day or two, not too worried yet though ;)

I suppose in your situation its not a bad thing if they are stuck in at #1 and #2 :)
