What if the competitor is Google itself?
I have a site that is ranking No.1 for quite some time for the term “Mobile Videos” and now YouTube Started Mobile Videos Content I didn’t change any thing but I am out of the Google index for that specific term though I am still ranking No 1 for the other top keyword.

What do you thing?

Even if google would place their youtube site on 1st position, i dont see why wouldn't you get the second position. Are you sure this happens in all datacenters?

i manully checked and also DP Keyword Tracker tool say the same.
My traffic stats dropped. which is a clear evidence.

My google rankings have been a daily roller-coaster ride lately. Some days I'm #1 for a keyword, other days I'm out of the index for it, and on the third I'm #3.... there seems to be no rhyme or reason for the changes - but I've heard a lot of other people complaining about this as well. How long have you been out of the SERPS? I've started treating the DP Keyword tracker tool more like my stock results - I no longer check daily, but home for long term improvements....

It is arround 4 days i have been out of SERPS for my major keywords. expect one.

I believe the keyword here is web traffic. YouTube have millions of users and if they would like to start something new, usually they will beat their competitors within weeks

I don't think this is a case of Google manually putting their stuff first. The problem is that YouTube has millions of users who link to their products.

I've worried about this myself before. With Google entering into so many new markets, they're sure to be competing with most other Websites. It's not going to make for a pretty picture.

you tube vidoes get viewed by millions everyday so obviously youtube is going to ranked first because it has more traffic & a more backlinks etc
