Rules Two accounts from one household?

My brother has recently become a webmaster and would like to register on the forum though due to me having an account it would mean breaking the rules of 1 account per household and potentially get both of us banned. I would like to think of myself as a valued member having over a thousand posts and being a member for over 4 years, Would it be possible for him to register on the site?

Where do you see a rule about one account per household? The rule is one account per person.

Won't they be sharing the same IP address?
I mean the thread OP and his brother.

It's fine to have more than 1 account per household, as long as the above rules are followed.

Well I guess your accounts will be safe if you don't indulge in BST. I mean, you should never tread within you and your brother's account and use iTraders and Reputation system.

2 accounts logged in from the same ip address = ban on both accounts, or am I seeing it wrong?

2 accounts used by the same person = ban both accounts.

So, the guy (Thread OP) and his brother will be banned?
Since the forum catches IP address and doesn't know its 2 different guys browsing the forum?
Conclusion - It'll get them both banned?

If one of them uses both accounts, yes... they would be banned.

So the only way you determine if we're the same person is if we BST with each other then?

There's a few way's to determine if one user is using several accounts.

    1) Both accounts are online at the time same time, all the time.
    2) Similar thread postings.
    3) Both accounts bidding for the same item.

Shawn has been monitoring this for year's, so I don't think he's likely to be caught out now ;)

If I were you I'd ask my brother to get a separate internet connection & never use the same computer.
