Do you notice AdSense pays more in December?

Anyone besides me notice that you make a lot more from AdSense during the month of December? My traffic is usually higher in December than Oct/Nov, but not by a huge amount. The amount of clicks is actually lower than days in other months where I had more clicks and made less.

This happens to me every year in December, but then it slows down a little in January and February even though the traffic is about the same.

I think it may be due to advertisers because some of companies try to reach there target at the end of year so that why they try to get more sale.

Totally depending on the niche, holiday niches work well during these times as adwords advertisers starts spending more depending on the season.

Yeah, it really does depend on your niche. For me it's the other way around. Every December I make about half the amount I normally earn the rest of the year. It's a pain in the butt.

Niche dependent, if you are associated with anything retail for example it's common sense that companies will increase their advertising budget over the holiday seasons to increase overall revenue.

And what do you know, December is over and January AdSense stats start off the month very slow. Same thing happened last year. If I recall correctly the next 2 months will be lower payouts than normal.
