Why i got infraction

I want to know why i got infractions for this thread

The thread starter said he is giving a script for free so i made a post asking him to send a download link and also asked him whether we have resale rights.
Howcome i get an infraction for that.Is asking a download link and whether we have resale rights gets us infraction.

 

You just got a warning, not an infraction.

The warning was for:

"Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value"

The OP clearly stated to to PM for details.

He said in the post to PM me for the download link.
I have made that post to know whether we have resale rights or not.
Is that not contributing the thread.

hmm..asking for download link deserves an infraction. but asking for resale rights, i think, can be helpful as it tells everyone on the thread whether they can resell it.

but then again, all you got was a warning. heck, it doesn't matter even if it was an infraction. you won't die. at least i hope you won't.

 

Just let this pass. No use in complaining about it unless you are about to get banned.

 

I thought it will be helpful to me and others if we ask whether it has resale rights.
I don't deserve the warning also.

you didn't get an infraction for asking for resale rights. that question just happened to be at the wrong post at the wrong time and got dragged into the blame at the same time. the only reason you got an infraction was because you ask the OP to PM you when HE asked YOU to PM him.

even if your post read as:

you would still get an infraction.

 

If in the post i have only mentioned to send a download link then i deserve warning.
But i have asked whether it has resale rights.It means i want more information abount what he is giving.It will definetly be helpful for others.
If you read the entire thread you will find one more member asking whether it has resale rights.
That shows that other members are also looking for that information about resale rights.

 

you can the infraction reason at your profile and you can ask the reason to the mods . they are very kind people
