Sometimes I sit before my laptop and I hardly realize that I have spend 5 full straight hours. There are lot of things happening in the offline world. Meet ups, parties, meetings, jolly rides, sky diving, fun, education and other events. Once I got a chance to visit Farmers market in my locality and learnt how my local people and their livings are. It was an incredible experience. My question to DP community is how do you spare your time between online and offline activity? Discuss here about Pros / cons and anything else here.
All of we are here at online to make our life style better, that's why I tried to pass time with my family as much as I can. But till now I'm spending 8 to 10 hours at online everyday to complete my online/offline clients work. But I realize now time to outsource some work & spend more time in offline activities.
I spend most of my " spare " time online so it's a pretty decent balance for me , most weekends I'm offline as I'm out with friends socialising.
I think in order to get yourself underway and your busines growing then you have to effectively manage your income producing activities. Like anything, if you spend too much time in one area you are always going to run the risk of being deficient in others so its important to block out segments of time to accomplish certain tasks and then sitch gears once your next time slot kicks in. Sort of like going to school. Its been hard for me, as well, but I am definitely getting better at it.
The best way to manage your online and offline time is to have a schedule. I work from home on a full-time basis, so I try not to use the computer after 5pm. Time goes by so quickly when your online, so you have to manage your time effectively. Otherwise you will get addicted to the Internet and not see your friends enough
To be frank I dont have offline time to schedule.. i used to spend all the time in the internet..even in sundays..wake up with my laptop and sleep with my laptop...I even forget to eat some days..
i can't manage my online activity , everyday online up to 12 - 15 hours... but cheers, that's why i still alive right now
