TheXception has built it's name over a long time now. First started back in 2002 just as my username on forums, it evolved into a full service business with many happy customers. We provide a one stop shop solution for all e-businesses and webmasters. We have a team of talented individuals who work on the projects we get from clients, and a vast resource of contacts to get any job done, no matter how obscure it may be. With some money put into this business, it could easily pull in thousands of dollars of profit every month with very little work for the owner.

December's revenue is low, because I took over 2 weeks off due to Family Court, Holidays, and massive storms and power outages where I live. I stopped taking or soliciting orders during this time.

We recently took down the website, moved servers and put up a new design, so there isn't much for traffic stats. Currently this month it's getting about 20 unique visitors per day, but that will easily be increased tenfold in a week's time with some marketing. The website has basically never been marketed or advertised. I can include an excellent advertising campaign in the sale for an extra $250. The website is indexed in major search engines including google.

The forum posting management script, if a few more fetaures are added and a little bit spent on the coding, with my plans and what I've done to create this network, it will be an amazing viral marketing tool and turnkey business selling operation.

I will continue to work part time to facilitate management of the business and ensure all clients are kept happy and things run smoothly, for 2 weeks as part of the sale. I will be happy to negotiate an ongoing contract or other agreement with the new owner as well.

Why am I selling? I've been stuck in a catch 22 situation for a while, I need to get my car on the road to take care of my son properly, as I live in the country and without a vehicle it's about 45 minutes walk and a half hour bus ride just to get some groceries... Not to mention it being a whole day's activity just to make one doctor's appointment. I have missed 3 doctor's appointments lately because I just couldn't afford to take a day off work and spend money on buses etc. I'd like to wipe the slate clean, get my car on the road, get my son the things he needs, and go see my doctors and get my health taken care of properly, before I end up in the hospital having surgery again. I do not want to see this go, but I also do not want to see my clients suffer if I have to take time off the computer for my son or our health. I need this business to be taken care of properly, and I just can't do it justice on my own, it has way more potential than this. Ideally, I would find somebody who wants to buy out half of it and continue on a partnership working side by side, or a silent partner who just wants to finance everything and make this business a big player in the market. No. Basically, if you have the money to put into it, or can at least put 75-100% of the sales back into it for a little while you just need to handle sales, management and some work here and there where you can. As with anything, the more you put into it the more you will get out of it, but that can also be just putting money into it and getting it to run itself. If you are looking for something where you can just put your money into it and sit back, then we can make that happen.

I have never secured an agreement with any partner. I have talked with a couple people about it, and I'm open to offers, but currently there is nobody else in partnership with the business, only associates and business contacts, working together and exchanging ideas / services etc doesn't quite constitute a partnership....

As you mentioned above, if someone wants to do exactly like this, (putting money and sit back, your team run it), what is your estimate of this new owner's share, your cost, and final net profit? At the same time, I'm wondering why you'd want this situation because you want to get out of here for other new project? Unless you're in need of money right now.....

 

A.) Yes as mentioned in my post I'm trying to overcome a catch 22 situation so that I have more time to work, which I need more money to do, and would rather the sales from the business go 100% back into the business for a little while, as the rewards would be well worth it.

B.) With somebody putting the money into buying this, and working out a deal for me to ensure everything runs smoothly, also includes having more resources to get the team doing more work, and getting more team members to fulfill all jobs faster as we go, and grow at an even more alarming rate.
