Is the new Google logo a tribute to the Olympic Games starting today, or is the fact that it has Greek-looking images just a co-incidence? It surprised me when I logged on this morning and saw it.
Yeh must be, at first I had to think why the Hell are there random Greek peeps on the logo. Looking at it again I don't think it looks that good, kinda rushed if you ask me.
They do this once in a while - last one I recall was on the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' first flight (December 17 1903 I think) and they've also done a St. George on Google.co.uk on 23 April plus others... ...nice touch I reckon PS it's got alt AND title tags "Athens 2004"
