The site was made this morning so it has not really gone online yet.

To be honest, I went to the site and was bored before I even started looking. I always appreciate the effort people go to to build sites but you really must add some design to your site.

Agreed with gazzerman, If I would build a site for teenagers I would give it more colours and pictures of jumping teenagers.

Don't make the forum the front page of the site, put it in one deep even if you main links go to the forum. You need to be inviting to your guests!

Remember what they use to say about stickiness? You need for the visitor to stay, especially with forums or it will be a ghost town.

boring boring boring, forums can take a while to become active as it is so a forum as the homepage is a no-no i would say as it makes the overall site look dead.

spice up the colors a bit make it look more alive, oh and btw in a recent study i did on my teen site , the boys tend to like more darker colours like dark blue, black, and dark greys where as the girls like bright colours like pink, red, but were no fond of the darker coulors so keep that in mind.

I agree. More (or at least some) pictures are needed to keep kids interested. Your site seems to be quite popular though seeing it's only been up a few days

I have been adding messages to over 45 yahoo teenagewriter groups and that brought quite some traffic to my site. I get many nice responses on it simpley being a foruma nd nothing else so I have decided to leave the forum as it is for a 3 weeks to a month and then if it doesn't run I can always build a site around it.

Well thank you for your comment i'll take it into consideration. Oh btw. The members on DP for which I make designs seem to be pretty satisfied.

All DP members seemd so nice and then you came allong....they still seem nice... but you don't

btw people in a month's time TeenageWriters.com will get a new layout + logo and many new features, i'll put it up for review again then.

edit: The forums are running great traffic is great and posts and users keep on increasing .

edit: If you act like that you won't last long on DP, red rep goes fast

I think your site is doing great for a forum. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The only thing I would touch is the logo - I would put some text like: "teenagers, post your stuff at our forums..". I guess if you bury the forum, less people would register and post. The front page must have one purpose - register and post content.

Thank you very much, when the new update comes there will be a new design and unique logo from vectorlabz.com . But the forum I will keep on teh front page after asking multiple teens they like it that way.
