Submitting Articles

I have a a number of articles that i have submitted to an article site. Is it normal to submit the same articles to other sites or should I change them. How many sites do writers usually submit to?

And finally........Is there any scripts available to produce an article database? I currently have a copy of lore laying around but it would need some tweaking to work

 

I was wondering the same and asked yfs1 his opinion. He said most are a waste of time.

So after ArticleDepot I'll submit pretty much the exact same ones to just a hand ful of others, maybe up to a dozen or so as and when I find good ones like ArticleDepot.

From a duplicate content perspective I don't see the point of mass submission.

Altering them slightly might be useful indeed though.

 

Altering them slightly is a good idea however since your articles are distributed, there will still be copies out there.

If your main site is your concern, then I suggest writing unique articles for your site and additional articles meant for distribution. This is a "Best of Both Worlds" approach which has always worked well for me.

As far as multiple sites, T0PS is correct. 1% of the Article Submission sites gets you 99% of the coverage.

Can you name some more article sites as i submit more than my 100 unique articles per month to per article site.

 

free article sites that are searchable by google (ie the articles) are the best ones to go for.

I submitted 7 articles to the Ezine articles site and in 3 weeks, I have 3598 views! I think it's a great way to promote your websites and to get one way links!

and after 48hrs yahoo has picked up 1500+ sites that have my article posted
google and msn seem to be a bit slower

Look at Maria Marsala's site at http://www.ArticleBanks.com. She has a good list and lots of free information. As far as duplicate content goes I wouldn't worry about it. I've built my business and sites using article submission and have never had any problem with my articles being duplicated.
