My friend got wrongly banned for duplicate accounts.

    My friend, WebJax recently got banned for duplicate accounts yet he has never made another Digitalpoint account in his life. His banned till December and i was wondering if i could help him get the ban lifted now, as it was wrongly dealt out. He has also already contacted the owner to no avail.

    Is their someone i should speak to about this matter? or is it best in this section.

    Thanks! Also sorry if this is in the wrong section.

    Is it possible if i could get username of those accounts as his certain he hasn't made any duplicate accounts, but i will see maybe if the names jog his memory.

    Here's a few... JayDesigns, JneroCorp, foogle, buzzedouthost, jpinheiro, WebJax, etc, etc... (there are more)

    Same Skype, same PayPal account, same date of birth, same IPs, same physical computer, they own the same domains, etc, etc...

    But yeah, I'm sure it's all a mistake on our part....

    The question is How did you find "same physical computers" ?

    can DP access details of my MAC address via Cookies?

    Probably browser version detection, screen resolution, MAC address or something else - or a combination of all those :D
