Established Video Game Niche MySpace Resource Site (MSRS) - $100+ Revenue Last Month

I love this site, but unfortunately it's been neglected too much lately to realize its true potential.

After a lot of thinking I've decided to let a few of my pet projects go. Sites that are doing well, but I haven't been able to dedicate enough time to.

My wife and I just had our first child this week, I'm doing a full University course load this semester, and I have bigger sites where I plan to focus what little time I do have available.

Great opportunity to pick up some established sites that have lots of potential for growth and improved monetization.

This was going to be part of my network of Video Game related sites.

I also have SNESForum.com for sale (see sig) and will be selling NoobVids.com (Youtube style site dedicated to video game videos). If you are possibly interested in this site and one of those, I would be willing to do a package deal.

Site Basics

Site is a Myspace Resource site that caters to a niche audience. I find niches are the way to go for these types of sites as they allow you to develop a highly targeted user base that becomes extremely loyal. As long as you regularity add content, your repeat users should be higher than a normal Resource Site. Also, these are people that tend to promote your site towards other people who are within your niche. Specific niche MySpace sites are hard to find and as such, they have a large "Buzz" factor within the specific community.

This is the only MySpace resource site I know of that centers around this Niche. It's focus is on video games and as far as I know, is one of the only sites I have ever seen that offers layouts for non current generation systems.

Revenue

Site has not been heavily promoted, however, it has still done quite well.

December revenue was 102.33. As you can see below, revenue has dropped this month. This is due to lack of effort on my part. No updates have been made to the site since December 15th. Revenue should rise to December level and beyond with the addition of new content. I do have some content I can provide as discussed below.

With this type of site new content needs to be added weekly in my opinion.
Another consideration is to remove the dates from the news if you're updating less frequently. This is a method I have found works well on other sites.



No CPA programs have been implements, but definitely should be.
MaxBounty has a lot that have been effective on other Resource sites I own.

Traffic




MySpace Profile

Site also comes with profile that has just under 4000 friends.
All highly targeted users who would be interested in the site.

No bulletins have been sent from the account at all.

Advertising

Almost no advertising has been done with this site.

I believe there was one bulletin sent at one point several months ago.
Aside from that there has been limited link building and comment campaigns.

More effort was put into adding quality content and letting the site go viral, as well as optimize the site for Search Engine rankings. I believe the site succeeded on both accounts.

Domains

I really went overboard with registering alternative domains for this site.

Along with the main ProfileNoobs.com domain the following are also included:

All are registered at Namecheap and ready for a free push.

Links

Any links on the site can be removed, including the two banner links on top (both to sites of mine).

Search Engine Rankings

Site ranks exellent for some highly relavent terms (see awstats screens), however there has been a decrease in some rankings from December to January due to the lack of updates.

Script

Site runs on Greg-J's MSRS which is $297. I will talk to Greg-J about the transfer and getting you access to the owners forum. Site has had many add-ons installed and modifications made.

Content

To view the content, it's best to browse around the site yourself.
There are thousands of images added (Nearly 30K in the Hot Chicks section) and hundreds layouts that are unique and exclusive to the site. There are several flash generators as well.

I have a couple thousand images that I will provide the new owner so they can get started on regular updates.

I will also be available to create layouts if your require, or put you in contact with reliable designers.

Price

I'm not willing to sell for less than $500.00 considering the costs of the script, domains and content involved. Let alone the current traffic and revenue. So I guess $500 would be the starting bid.

I guess that's it. Site quality really speaks for itself. I do hate to see this one go, but I have to focus my efforts and cut down on my number of sites.
